- When I typed "mashup," I thought of mashed potatoes.
- Dora and I are heading to Alabama tomorrow for the week. I think I may have some mashed potatoes.
- I don't understand all the Twinkie drama. Those things are disgusting.
- I have been making arrangements for my babies' graduations. College graduations. Where did the time go?
- They are graduating the same day. One in Philadelphia and one in Virginia. Sigh.
- I have become slightly obsessed with brussels sprouts.
- I just had my first post-cancer mammogram. Have you had yours this year?
- I am so grateful for proactive heathcare options.
- I am so grateful for every single thing.
- So grateful.

I don't get the twinkie drama either .. gross ... what's in Alabama? I keep remembering that lovely dinner at Robert last Thanksgiving Eve and the insane icy cold walk trying to see the Macy's balloons .... gosh i miss you
I miss you too! :(
(But am so very happy for you!) xo
Me too, so thankful!
I think you will definitely have mashed taters.
Graduation on the same day. WOW! Such an accomplishment for both of your babies. How wonderful!
Enjoy each moment of the week in Alabama.
xoxo
Wow graduating? Where does the time go?
Have a wonderful trip!
I don't like Twinkies, either, but HoHo's?? OMG...I've loved those since I was a kid...I remember unwrapping them and eating them very slowly. Little Debbie makes a knock-off HoHo, but it's just not the same. Sigh.
I can't believe it's going to be graduation time next spring. Hey - didn't they graduate high school on the same day? Or maybe that was someone else.
Although I was rather fond of Twinkies while growing up, I have thought they are disgusting for at least the last 40 years. Blech! Hostess doesn't make anything I want in my body...
I can always (sadly) eat mashed potatoes. Love. Them.
So, how do you accomplish being 2 places at once? The Continuing Challenge of Being A Mom of Twins...

I had written a great bunch of comments & Google ate them.....
It does seem like yesterday that they were 17....my oh my.
Alabama? Taters for sure :)
I swear, I was thinking of brussel sprouts the day before yesterday. I wish I could eat them. Love.
Yep...need that mammogram.
I agree. I am extremely thankful!!
I'm grateful for mashed potatoes and mammograms and for how much fun we had not so long ago. Twinkies? The only Twinkie I like is my cat and even he tries my patience.
mmm, brussels sprouts. love.
(and yes i had a mammogram...)
just plain thankful...that's what I am. Enjoy your getaway and your mashed taters.
I had my mammogram (clear), will run in the National Breast Cancer Marathon in Feb in Jacksonville and love mashed potatoes. I lived in Half Moon Bay, CA for many years and they are the Brussels sprout capital of the US- got to really like them there. Yes, very grateful. Always. Happy Thanksgiving.
p.s. Didn't they just start college last year?
I don't get the twinkie frenzy but I do like their Hostess Cupcake, chocolate icing on yellow cake for a treat once a year on my birthday! Have a great trip to 'Bama and I bet there will be mashed potatoes. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving if I don't get a chance to tell you again!
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
