GAH!
Those kids of yours are so funny...even when they really aren't trying to be.
Was a t.v. on somewhere when he asked where San Fran was? The male mono-focus thing is such a bother.Hope Baby Bird is doing better!
Classic! Sick, but not that sick. I get that all the time with my daughter!
So does this mean that the Boston Marathon is in Boston?! What a revelation.Hope the bird feels better soon.
Love the San Francisco comment - that would be something mine would say! I'm in training for the Hospital Hill half-marathon here in Kansas City...I'm going to die. Gah.
"Where?" lol.. he meant "When?" didn't he? :)Hope your girl is feeling better soon.
You are such a great text-motherer!
: ) Of course she didn't have time for the Dr. Who ever has time for the dr.? We are having another snow day in the city : ) so your son probably doesn't have college again. Hope he has fun! : )
You make me feel so much better. I now know my kids are mostly normal.
Gah is right! That all sounds so very familiar, from my college days.
oh to have such normal conversations......giggles love it :)
Apart from the parenting part, hooray for the 1/2 marathon part! Ours (my daughter and me) is in FL on Feb 13 and I'm psyched.
Now if it were reversed....Augie sick and Baby Bird discussing marathon...I'm still in awe of this running thing.
He was only half listening. I'm going to bet a girl was involved. Or rugby. (I'm running away now. Or ducking for cover.)Hope your daughter feels better. She can get a cheap digital thermometer from the dollar store to keep handy. Although really it's all in how you feel. If you feel crappy and you have no temperature, you still feel crappy. These are some profound statements...where is that San Francisco marathon again?
So,...um...where is the San Francisco marathon again? ;)
Oh geez. Poor kid.
Annie said it
Oh boy does this sound familiar!
Just came across your blog and had to laugh at the txt exchange...i never hear from my kids at college unless they have a problem, not that they take my advice they just want someone to feel sorry for them i think. lol :)
