I get the trend and I understand it! In the USA, I like St. Augustine and have thought about getting a winter place there as well. We could meet for coffee.
I'm leaning toward Pawley's Island, but then again, anywhere that is WARM right now!

Try Seabrook Island, SC! Beautiful private island 20 minutes from Charleston.

here's a little hint...power in Florida is very expensive...very hot and very cold..just sayin'...if it was me...I vote for Pawley's Island...

Charleston SC is my home town. Lived there 42 yrs until I moved to Ohio. Charleston is a lovely city. I miss it terribly. I raised my children there, went to school there, grew up there. It would be a good choice for sure!!!
