Tuesday Text: Parentexting™

The ones where I am Florence Nightingale and Mom...

Don't tell her, but I may have laughed a little.
And more loving, nurturing medical advice to a certain son.
He had a stiff neck.
And was leaving for Montreal with his friends...
A neck brace? I actually laughed out loud.
Seriously?
Notice how when I told him he shouldn't have gone,
he was all better? Hmmm.
I think a Stiff Neck is a precursor to a Man Cold.
And how did any of us go on Spring Break without our cell phones?
Integral?
Gah.
I hope I survive college.

I don't know how you do it. Parenting from a distance looks really challenging.

Hope your babies are going to be okay!

Is it bad that this tuesday text made me laugh?!

LOL...you should consider yourself lucky to get so much information from the youngsters!
This, too, you will survive!

Use it sparingly or I will make you pay me back :)
You are such a great Mom!

Tuesday Text never fails to disappoint - this time, I "cracked" up when his face hit the girl's butt...I guess I'm juvenile or something. :)

Hee hee! I know you will survive! Of course, you might have a few more grey hairs before the whole thing is over and done with!

Tripping up the stairs and doing a face plant into someone's butt is hilarious!!

You'll survive. Your wallet won't.

I should be taking notes for when The Child gets in college. I have a sinking feeling the time will go all too fast.

I sbsolutely ADORE your "Keep Calm and Carry On" responses to these crises of the highest order...chuckles galore! I especially liked, "do you have enough advil," and the fact that you totally avoided the part about Bird's face in the girl's butt completely.

You, my friend, are going to survive their college years swimmingly! Always...Keep Calm and Carry On, and if that gets too difficult, move straight into The State of Denial!

BWAHAHAHA!

Tuesday is starting to become my favorite day of the week.

Where else can one read of a daughter falling head first into someone's tail end (sorry, but I had to laugh) and the son suffering a stiff neck (from playing the illicit game of rugby)? Yet both ailments are treated equally, with the same amount of care and concern by a very good, loving Mama.

You should write a book on parenting (via text) the high school and college -aged child. I'd be the first one in line to buy it.

I'm still laughing about the face butt. What a way to fall.
