Pity Party

Somebody had their physical today.
50 is so much fun...
Cooperative veins...not so much.
Up next, we have a bone density scan,
and a meeting to set up the dreaded colonoscopy.
The fun never ends.

Had my first one this past summer. (More than a few years late.) Colonoscopies are a breeze! And I really do mean that! By the time your arse is exposed you're asleep and totally unaware. Then you wake up in another room all tucked in and cozy.

I am here to tell you that the colonoscopy is so not a big deal. Honest. Good luck! And it's good that you are taking care of all of this.

Bone density test isn't that bad, you just lay on a hard table kind of like and x-ray machine table, with a wedge under your knees. Colonoscopy isn't too bad, the worse part is getting prepared for it. When they actually examine the colon they give you enough of something to relax you, in my case, I don't fight it and I sleep through the whole thing. Then I o home and sleep some more. LOL One of our daughters was awake through the whole procedure talking to the doctor and on the way home, we had to stop at a Bob Evans, she was hungry. So each person is different. Good luck.
