BB

My mother should have been 80 on this fine day.
Choosing to admit this, would have to be her say;)
A beauty til the end, and gone far too soon,
To my brothers and me, she hung the moon.

Yet her legacy still thrives,
In us, and in our children's lives.
And I know she'd be utterly thrilled,
At the lives we continue to build.

I miss you my Dear Mother,
A model for me like no other...
I'll remember you this day with smiles and with tears,
But still wish we could have had you a few more years.

You could not have written a more perfect tribute to your mother. She knows. She knows how you feel.

I envy the relationship you had with your mother. Honestly. I wish I could go back in time sometimes. Now I'm getting all choked up. Missing mine, too.

I can see from where your beauty transcends.

A wonderful tribute. It doesn't matter what age we are, we still need our mothers. I was 19 when I lost mine, and I miss her as much today as I did those 42 years ago.

You always speak so lovingly of her that she must have been a lovely, lovely person. Does your Birdie look like her? My unartistic eye thinks so.
