I needed to know the result of Augie's TB test and he is away...
My texts are the green ones,
and my darling son's responses are on the left.
I think I can be ready to send him to school next week.
But I am serious.
Note the silence on the other end...
That room needs a bulldozer run through there.

oh if life were just that simple. I need to fill you in on what is going on in my life....I need your hugs and reassurance that life WILL be ok...someday!
I hope the bulldozer gets warmed up soon!
Purple and yellow are JMU's colors - his arm needs to be blue and orange to honor his sister.
If you rent a bulldozer, could you haul it down here? I need to clean out my garage and basement.
As serious as serious can be. That's serious, I'd be listening to you.
And if he doesn't clean it, you get to drive the bulldozer. And that's fun.
Or hire a young, hunky dozer operator. There's at least one upside to that option.
I love his selective texting. You're gonna help him aren't you? Start the morning off with loud marching band music and a bull horn. That will get him going.
I always threatened Pitcher with "I will throw away anything not picked up by the end of the day on ____!" I did it once, so he knew I was serious.
OMG his arm is purple and yellow?? If it's only clothing and paper stuff, just use a leaf blower on his room.
I fell ya girl and Little T is only 11! He is not texting yet but he will close that bedroom door quick!
I am liking your bulldozer idea!
When you get done with that Bulldozer, can we borrow it up here? Meg's room is...well, I think there's a bedroom somewhere.
Seriously, Meg has three MONTHS left before she leaves for Basic and if the bulldozer doesn't take care of it, I'm just going to throw a grenade in there.
At least there was no bump!
Gah ... this selective hearing apparently begins when males are very young and seems to affect their sight/reading ability as well .. amazing
It is amzing what men can block out when they want to. Ha, ha. This had me laughing.
I think I'll get my 13 year old started NOW on his room so he can be ready to vacate when he's 18... it's that bad.
Lately, when I text my youngest, he just doesn't even respond. Next month I am deleting his phone from my plan. Seriously. The date is 9/10 and he knows this.
