So I Took Everyone's Advice...

...and I had some wine.

I feel like my blue mood has gone away, and now I have a slight headache.  Not to worry, though, because I must carbo-load today in preparation for tomorrow's Turkey Trot.

Jules, Mimi, Miss K and myself have signed up for another round of Thanksgiving Day Torture: a little 5 mile jog through a New England seaside town.  What a bunch of idiots.

You'll all do fine! Just don't stop for breakfast mid-way. Good luck ;^)

You go! That rocks and rocks hard. I mean, don't you think you'll drop that into conversation from now until next Thanksgiving? I totally would. "The economy? Oh, that reminds of last year on Thanksgiving Day when I ran five kilometers."

You seriously rock! While you ladies are doing that, I'll be sitting on my ever-growing hiney, drinking coffee :).

I am proud that you are Turkey Trotting this year. Way to get out there and get moving! Meanwhile, my achey knees keep getting me through my measly 3 mile morning walk!

Have fun - you know you will!

Oh, my, aren't we ambitious??? I'm sure I will eat enough for both of us while you are out there gettin' healthy. Good for you!!!

I'm getting ready to trot my turkey butt outside and search for pinecones and acorns. Not nearly as much fun as strolling along the seashore :(

I'm really impressed. Good for you for doing something healthful.

The only trotting I'm doing is towards the turkey.

And the wine.

Good luck and hope you have great weather.

When in doubt - WINE. I do feel ya though, I think the holidays do bright out a wee bit of melancholy.

EXERCISE? You better take wine in your water bottle! :)

Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving.

Okay. What the HELL is going on? I have had a headache for two straight days. It's not looking good for tomorrow at this point.

Here's hoping your jog will clear your head and set things right all over. :)
