My Dear Friends,
Like many of you, Christmas is tight for me this year.
I will be making bedroom slippers for you all as gifts.
Please let me know your sizes. You'll most likely agree
that it's a splendid idea, and should you wish to do the same, I've
included the instructions below.
that it's a splendid idea, and should you wish to do the same, I've
included the instructions below.
How to make bedroom slippers out of maxi pads:
You need four maxi pads to make a pair.
Two of them get laid out flat, for the foot part.
The other two wrap around the toe area to form the top.
Tape or glue each side of the top pieces to the bottom of the foot part.
Decorate the tops with whatever you desire, silk flowers (this is most
aesthetically appealing), etc.
These slippers are:
* Soft and Hygienic
* Non-slip grip strips on the soles
* Built in deodorant feature keeps feet smelling fresh
* No more bending over to mop up spills
* Disposable and biodegradable
* Environmentally safe
* Three convenient sizes: (1.) Regular, (2.) Light and (3.) Get out the Sand Bags.
I've attached a photo of the first pair I made so that you can see the
nifty slippers for yourself....
Awaiting your response. It's crucial that I get the right size for each one of you.

You can win a gorgeous Christmas Plate at my place!
i want the fat fluffy size 10's and I keep going back looking at that pear... it sure has some phallicness about it! when will we get the story behind the pear HUH HUH HUH???
Since I live in California and it doesn't get that cold, just make mine out of panty liners.
Thanks so much! You are a doll!
OMG Suz's comment cracked me up again! Oh crap these are funny.
I will ALWAYS say that Mental P is an angel with WINGS to little MINI me.
You are going to MAXI out your Christmas budget this year for sure.
Bear((( )))
I think you're onto something.
Can you make a string bikini out of tampons?
I'll take a size 9.5, wide. That's for the slippers, but come to think of it that would work for the bikini too.
The wide part, anyway.
You should sell them on Ebay!
That is funny!
How about some stilettos on those slippers - at least I can look sexy in them.
I am with Ellen - I have heel spurs so I need the stilettos! Can I have mine with snowflakes instead of snow men? Thanks.
Nurse Nancy
size 8...and you could have a new career on Etsy! Ask Kate how to get started!!!
You're crazy!!!!I'm laughing!!!!
Hmmm. Can you make those out of tampons?
But won't men feel obligated to leave the room when we bring these out?
What can you do with Depends?
OMG! I am still laughing at this post - loudly - at work! I'd give anything to get a picture of these dainty slippers on doughboy's masculine sized 11 wide feet. Ohhh...my sides are beginning to hurt from laughing. Thanks - I needed this!
P.S. Size 8-1/2 for me, please ;)
could you please use kotex for mine I have wide feet 8 1/2 ww thank you lmao
Bwahhhhhh. Uh uh. That is great.
Size 8 1/2 by the way.
:-)
Okay - now this post has me rolling on the floor laughing! Too funny! I thin the snowmen really add something!
Aren't those so fun!!!! I made some of those years ago and it seriously was a huge hit....except for one of my friends...she totally took offens....she just needed to LIGHTEN UP! I ♥ THE WHOLE IDEA! Since we are still in the 90's...I will need something LIGHT...maybe you can come up with a thong....this morning while driving in my car...they were playing Christmas music and one of the songs was called "Here Comes Menopause" instead of Here Comes Santa Claus...so funny...I THOUGHT OF YOU...you need it playing on your blog...I didn't catch who did it...maybe I'll hear it again...Have fun makin' slippers!
...Oh lord take me now, I have seen it all! lol... ;o)
...How 'bout those lil' thong liners with say a stiletto heel? I got a visual - so tres chic... :o)
...I'm with someone else up there about sellin' 'em on Etsy. I once saw mens briefs made out of beef jerkey featured on there. Supposedly they sold to Ted Nugent of "Cat Scratch Fever" fame - go figure... ;o)
...Very creative you are MPM!
...Blessings...
Snort.
OMG! Those are freaking hilarious! I've been wondering what to do with that 15 year old box of pads I have. This would send my daughter into seizures of laughter.
The best part being that as you're shuffling around the house, you're also cleaning. (can you tell I have a lot of bare floors?
Now if you used Depends, could you make a pair of Uggs with them? Have you seen this site: www.tamponcrafts.com?
OMG why oh why would someone (Ellen!) send you to another crafts site!!!
BTW, make mine size 10!!! Love the decos!
God, you are hysterical!!! I'm ROFL.
xoxo,
Mary
I've been wondering what to do with the feminine hygiene products I all-of-a-sudden don't need anymore since the Great Menopause Fairy stopped by...
The problem is, with the hot flashes, I can't wear slippers anymore. What else can you make??
What an absorbing concept! ;)
WHERE do you find this stuff?
This is even funnier than the kid laughing
:-Daryl
Har har har! This had me laughing especially when I imagine my mother in law (who is prim and proper) in these.
I am laughing right now just like when I was a baby and my dad would rip paper in front of me. And man I have a headache just thinking about those days.
