Sunday

When I shot this all I thought was how beautiful it was.
Then, all I could think of was HELEN.
I may need some help.
With many apologies to Simon and Garfunkel.
I am a rock.  I am a He-ee--eron.

I am a rock, I am Hell--lllen Mirren.
And a rock feels no pain;
And an island never cries.

You're obsessed with that airbrushed woman. Stop it. And I love that song. :)

you see, this is why i love you. but, this is also why i don't drink tea while i read you. my laptop is safe another day.

oh crap that's just great. that song *the helen mirren version* is stuck in my head. if i die today i'm going to haunt you by singing that song.

it's pretty unlikely i will die today. but STILL!

That's okay..you keep posting these things and one day I'll get up and move to the treadmill.

I'm a fat rock.

BTW, beautiful reflection photo!

You are very weird.

On another note - I am pleased to be able to report that Helen Merrin has never grown a kid in her body. THAT'S why her bod looks like that. Oh, and some incredible skin genes, on, and don't forget air-brushing.

First picture is the essence of Sunday Serenity, BTW.

Helen....oh my goodness..
get a robe before I spit my coffee all over the computer. 63, I am 50and I never had a bod like that.
It is Sunday, bright and shiny, I will be blogging as soon as I get some time to myself where husband will not be asking "what are you writing" as it will not be good!
Have a good one and relax. Summer is a time to relax if/when you can!

Herons are beautiful birds aren't they? I laughed out loud at your comparison to Hellen!

Too funny (and great picture).

Regarding Helen, I was just wondering what decadent delectable I could have for breakfast/lunch/whatever and after seeing that picture again, I've lost my appetite.

How is it possible that she's in her sixties? It doesn't make any sense.

I will be excommunicated from the blogger crowd. The bird, she is beautiful. The woman, I think she is not from this planet.

I bet she's photoshopped...yep I bet she is.

Wow...I can only wish to look like that in my sixties...highly doubt it! I am a beautiful person kidnapped by an ugly body fo sho! Love the pic of the heron...you have so many nice pictures of the water...looks so nice and cool while we are sitting here with this heat and the humidity to match wowie!

...nothing better than a little retro Paul McCartney & Wings on a Serene Sunday. BWAHAHAHAHA...

Have a wonderful day and I thank you for the as-usual beautiful pic. Now I need a chili dog. To heck with Helen Mirren and her hot 60-something body. ME WANT CHILI DOG. :)

Oh, that makes me sick. I was really starting to think I looked as great as Helen Mirren. Then, you had to go and show this. I'm now completely deflated. Where the hell is her saggy skin?

I think Helen MUST have had copious amounts of surgery.

For real?! I love it. Hey, let's exchange midlife blog links.

Well after noshing on Noble Pig recipes I don't expect that I will be looking none to slim. Helen needs to look a little more like the average rock. Or island. Or heck the average fat older lady.
