I know it makes me crazier than a run over dog takin' care of sick ones at my home....Bless all of your pea pickin' hearts...OWIE WOWIE!!!! I agree with not having them both done at the same time...smart thinkin' Mama! Hope he is doing pretty good today...some of mine did great...some looked like they had been run over by a truck...have a nice weekend full of wisdom and milkshakes!
I can't believe I am so far behind the times with you....just read all the blogs I have missed and can't figure out where I have been. You know, I just don't understand why we have "wisdom" teeth then they cause so much trouble. It just does not make sense does it? I see your update that he is doing good, I hope he doesn't over do it and then feel bad for a week or so. Tell him to take it easy and milk it just a little! (by the way, he sure is HANDSOME!)
Its taken me all afternoon to get here but here I am ... and I am so hoping he is feeling okay .. a little ice cream would be nice I think I hear him thinking that
You know that photo makes me nervous too, just looking at it. I am 40 something years old, and I never got my wisdom teeth. My dentist must think me a fool. He's probably not alone.
Ouch and I hope he's doing okay! David has one needing to be removed and he wants to be knocked out. It's not even impacted! Oh, he's so sweet letting you snap a shot at the dentist!

Pardon me while I go faint at the mere sight of a dentist's office.
No dentists for me for 7 years and I'm not about to change due to horrendous--barbaric-- past experiences.
NEVERMIND THAT. I am sending good wishes and numb nerve endings and lots of percocet and whatever to make life more bearable.
It can only get better.
So did the dentist spend the weekend at Home Depot looking at masonry drill bits before the procedure?
Home Depot clerk to Dr. Turbodrill: May I help you select a drill bit, sir?
Dr. Turbodrill, holding a bit about 1.5' in diameter and a foot long, says, Do you have at least 12 of these in stock?
Clerk to Dr. Turbodrill: Twelve? How will you be using them, if I may ask?
Dr. Turbodrill: I'm a dentist.
Clerk: But sir, those are masonry bits!
Dr. Turbodrill, rubbing his hands together: BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I KNOW!!!!
On a happier note, "Louis" et Mme. la Vache celebrate their premier anniversaire today.
Hope that Augie is on the mend soon! Good thing they did not have them out at the same time!
I hope it went well. What a rite of passage!

Wow! There were enough tubes and wires and stuff in that room!
Bwahaha! Wait till he can talk again before making that judgment call!
How's our Augie this morning? On good meds I hope!
And feeling no pain.
Oh no, an often necessary evil of the teen years. Hope all is well this morning.
Bless his heart
Wishing Augie a speedy recovery. Time to stock up on more soup.
Soft boiled eggs are what he is going to need.
Hope he isn't in too much pain.
Bear((( )))
good luck with that we all know guys are babies when it comes to pain!
Thank you everybody! Believe it or not, he is out washing and waxing his car right now. Tomorrow will be interesting...

Ahhhh! Not the wisdom teeth!!!!
OMG, I'm already getting chills at the though, ok, have to go now... lol
Yikes! I had all of mine out at the same time years ago and remember the chipmunk cheek effect as if it were today.

Ahhhh... the Great Wisdom Teeth Removal. Mine both acted as if it was no big deal. How could I have raised children like this? It damn near killed me!
Hope Augie pulls through like a trooper...
