Heath

In case you've been asleep at the wheel...the new blockbuster this Summer is The Dark Knight, which is the new Batman movie starring notables such as Michael Caine, Christian Bale, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Morgan Freeman, and the late Heath Ledger.  Heath's apparently in line for a posthumous Oscar.  I may even hoist my third buttock up and get out to watch this one...*sigh.

What is everybody doing this weekend?  I am one bored mama.  I need suggestions.

Perhaps a game of pool-side tiddlywinks? I'll bring the Lawless Lemonade!

We never go to the movies .. they come to us MONTHS after everyone else has seen them WE watch them on Netflix ... no, I lie. HE watches by then I am so over them.

As to my Cloud .. even with Husband's admonisment to look over AND WAY down.. it should show up as a bunch of words in blue (which he also said wasnt good) below the photo of my 'head' .. and right above the Obama badge ... its there ... honest.

Now I am off to beautify™

I am rearranging the living room. I bought a chair and now I am trying to figure out where it looks best.
I know everyone loves the Batman movies but I feel they are too dark and depressing. I guess I am just one of the chick flick members.

There is talk of taping my puffy ankle (less puffy each day) and taking it on a bike ride... our first of the summer. The test will be getting the foot into a shoe for the first time this week. Then I believe there was bribery about someone grilling for me tonight. Throw in some ice cream and it would be a perfect day!

After getting up from a long nap due to lack of sleep last night...I am now going to search for a movie on demand from Netflix so I can be more bored. It's hot and I'm not at the lake.

What's with paying $$ for cable and not a damn friggin thing on??

Seems like today all I have gotten accomplished is to sit in front of my computer...I hate that ,,,I'm running out of excuses why I can never get anything done! Tomorrow will be different???

I'm trying to get rid of the headache from too much wine last night. After various unsuccessful attempts, I've decided the only remedy is the hair of the dog.

Well apparently I've managed to entertain myself for most of the day.

CBW: It is 3:30 now, I would be all over that hair of the dog by now.

You mean actually go to the theater? I have only gone with my grandson in the past, what few years? I did go see Wall-E. But, to just go enjoy MYSELF, hmm...I always wait for the video...so I say, live recklessly and wildly...treat yourself to a movie in a nice airconditioned theater, with, yes, buttered popcorn.

Well, the hubby & I tried to play golf this morning and we were both so awful that we quit after 9 holes & came home, lol.

And Debbie is right. All that money for cable TV and not a freaking thing is on to watch. So, I went out & trimmed back my Wisteria and made the trimmings into a wreath, lol. Now that's bored. I'm going to have a cocktail now and it's only 2:30 PM.

If you watch it, let me know how you liked it. I probably will NOT go and see it. Might watch it after it comes out on video!

I haven't yet seen it. I saw the one with Christian Bale, Liam Neeson, and Morgan Freeman a few years ago and thought it quite good.

I haven't seen it but my husband is raring to see it. We tried on Sunday but lines too long for the time we wanted to go so we went to Hancock instead. Actually it was better than I thought it would be....some comedy, some seriousness. I liked it but I mostly liked eating the popcorn because we rarely go to the theater. We usually rent. BUT hubby says The Dark Knight has to be seen on the big screen.
