Birthday Eve

Seventeen years ago today, I was one big mama.
Little did I know as the morning dawned that by the end of the day,
I would go into labor in the middle of a restaurant.
In my big pink seersucker romper.

Did they make you pay the check first?
In any case, good work!

Happy Birthday Baby Bird and Augie!! NSLO and I wish you both the happiest and many more happies.

Pink seersucker? Gracious. If I had worn that I'd have looked like a float in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Happy Birthday to the MPM Offspring!

Happy Happy Birthday Children DEAR!!! I love pink and seersucker...what CUTE KIDDO'S! Surely it's not those two cute angelic faces that made you mental...

Love the picture of the kiddos! Just think - you have a "unique" story to remind them of every year on their birthday!

Awww, how cute are they? SO cute that they almost made me forget the visual of yards and yards of pink seersucker :). HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

What I noticed is the blue outfit with the lacey collar. You need to frame both those outfits for the kids rooms. You have a beautiful family. And I too want to know....did they make you pay for your dinner before you left to make a "delivery"?

Happy birthday kids!! Make it a GREAT ONE!

Happy Birthday Baby Bird and Augie! You both have your whole lives ahead of you. How cool.

I'm dying to know how much weight MPM gained during the pregnancy. I gained 65 lbs each time. Thank God I didn't have twins. I would have gained at least 100.

Yet, I always thought it would be so perfect to have a boy and a girl twins and only go through pregnancy once.

Looks like you raised two amazing kids, MPM. Congrats!

PLEASE say you have a picture of that seersucker romper! Please!

Happy birthday to the young 'uns, too.

And thanks again for the award. I am so tickled. :-)

It's birthday time! How lovely!
I always feel nostalgic about how big I was "back then" (and how young!)

Any pictures of the pink seersucker?

You sure did a great job MPM!

Believe me. You do not want to see a picture of that pink romper. It wasn't pretty. I gained 100 pounds. For about 11 pounds' worth of babies. Not pretty at all.

pink seersucker romper, huh? Well, okay. Have you noticed how much cuter maternity clothes are now? They look like real live clothes. Don't suppose you have a picture of you in that pink seersucker thing, huh?

Beautiful girls, Mental P Mama. Happy Birthday to them. I went into labor at Rivergate Mall in Madison. I then drove myself back home & raised cane. My husband was in the middle of a poker game with his buds. I cleared the house. At that point in time, I temporarily hated men. Especially those that were having a good time.
