More role reversal. And in a little trip down memory lane, I like to remember that one of her first sentences went something like this: "Mommy, if I'm wearin' my clothes, why do you choose them?"
But, still...what am I supposed to wear today??

Ha ha that question is a classic and I'm sure I said the same thing to my mother. Little did she know what was to come. Actually maybe that's why she did choose them! :D
Since the weather guys got it wrong ONCE again and it isn't supposed to be above 64 - as opposed to 75++ - there's not that much of an issue.
However, it looks like it could be an issue later this week...
I laughed out loud! What a sweet little first sentence...and very well-thought out!
The what to wear conundrum = exhausting every spring!
Ha! My mom chose all my clothes through high school; I did you not!
You? Just wear that beautiful smile and all will be well!
((hus))
uh, HUS; no I'm not calling you a hussy! HUGS!!! :)
I think it's time to pull out the red cowboy boots, but I'm definitely not a slave to fashion so pay no mind to me.
I put on a short sleeved shirt and then turned around and changed to a sweatshirt. Now I'm back in the ss. I haven't even left the house. If I had to, I would have no clue.
It is amazing how we forget everything when we get older and they become the smart ones!
And again...I agree with Sally!
I'm wearing spring-weight dress slacks, a short-sleeve top with a light sweater over it. I'm warm right now because I refuse to take off the sweater and scare people with my arms.
ps - i love that little memory you have of her words.
hahahahaha all these years shopping and still nothing to wear...I have that problem ALWAYS....it IS usually my daughters who get it right...not me.....I LOVE THAT SHE ASKS YOU!
It's warmer in DC today than it was yesterday. Young ladies are all wearing their sundresses already! I myself am still in my work "uniform" - black slacks, red twinset, and yes, clogs and socks. ACK.
