Surf's Up

Thanks to Ida, the Long Island Sound looks like this:
This is a seawall in Westport, Connecticut.
I stole borrowed this shot from here.
She can go now.
And I'm hoping my Virginia friends are safe today.
I could sure use some of those deviled eggs this morning.

Hope the wind and tides aren't as bad as what came through here, although things are much better today. ALso heard from the chef at Ann Marie's Restaurant so she's doing OK too.

Maybe she could whip up a batch of those eggs and send 'em up? They probably don't travel well, though. I could always go down and eat them for you and report back.

Stay dry, warm and safe.

Wow! It's quieted down, so no more wind here in Maryland. Gray day but tomorrow promises to be beautiful.

I think I'll make some deviled eggs. Why won't she give you the recipe? I'm adding horseradish and Old Bay. Maybe that'll do it.

Well, it was a soggy but not overly wet day here yesterday..now its high 50s and dreary looking but dry . off to beautify™ and then to the Flea Market to do a little holiday shopping .. and now I have this craving for hush puppies and deviled eggs .. sadly the one place that I could have had some, is closed!!! GAH

What a great picture! I hope everyone is safe there!

It got cold here last night with our first actual hard freeze warning. It's entirely too early for this sh*t.

We've had some really stormy weather here in the UK too. Actually saw our chimmneys swaying in the wind. A bit scary really.

Hope everyone is ok over there.
