We had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday.
Food, family, fine wine and fun.
And last night, I put on my stretchy pants...
And went to see New Moon with my babies.
Being with The Bird and Augie? Priceless.
My movie verdict? Meh.
I think I need to go see The Blind Side.
Any other recommendations?

Yes, I recommend more wine. You can't go wrong.
I want to see The Blind Side really bad, but I also recommend Precious. Incredible.
I want to see Blindside, but for this weekend, and the holidays, I'm looking forward to seeing this one:

Never heard of Blindside.
I agree with the review of "meh." Precious is next on our weekend agenda. Son read the book, "Push" and has been hellbent on seeing the movie since.
I'm so totally lost when it comes to movies. I know nuthin just nuthin...
UP is on DVD and that was adorable; and about my speed.
Neither movie appeal to me, but I'm all for stretchy pants.
I thought Twilight was meh... New Moon? Better than meh.
I've never heard of The Blind Side.
Loved "The Blind Side". LOVED it.
Gosh, I haven't been to the movies in a year or more...
Nice to have the babies home, though... :)
I saw the trailer for Blind Side and loved it. Can hardly wait to see it.
Also, go see An Education if it's showing there. It won't be coming to our town so I guess I'll have to wait until it comes out on DVD.
Enjoy your babies!
If I had to choose, I would pick the Blind Side. but two of our four daughters, and these are not teenage daughters, love the Twilight series. They have read all the books, and seen the new movie at least twice all ready.
I wanna see the blind side... this whole weeks plans went out the window but you know i would not have it any other way.
Don't ask me for movie advice...I never see anything until it hits the rentals or pay for view.
We were supposed to see The Blindside today but life got in the way of our plans...
I'll live vicariously through your blog reviews!
I am so glad that your children were home for the holiday! They seem to be doing well! I hop eyou had a great Thanksgiving!
Not a fan of Ms Bullock or football so meh to Blindside. I thought the first Moon movie was beyond dull so I know I wont be watching this one. UP was fabulous .. and/or more wine is another good option
Perfect. Doesn't get any better than this. David and I watched TV together all evening and I was in Heaven LOL
I want to see the Blind Side! And Precious! I really want to see Precious! Can you believe that it is not playing around here. I thought I lived near a big bustling town... maybe not : )
PS Glad you wore stretchy pants! Aren't they the best?
Blind Side was absolutely fabulous. I took my niece and son and they loved it too. It is so unbelievable that it is almost entirely true. Other than that, I won't say another word because I don't want to spoil it.
Sounds like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I think I hear you smiling!
<><
I haven't yet seen The Blind Side - I have a feeling I'd cry the whole way through. I hear it's wonderful. Oher is playing for Baltimore now.
I went with my girls to see the Blind Side...I recommend it! It was really good! I have yet to see New Moon.
The movie isn't about the movie, it's about the book and the hysteria. I think you waited too long ;-)
I have a list I want to see, you'll have to let me know which ones you get to. Blind Side, what's Blind Side? (going to google now)
Ok, I am so pathetic. I just cried through the trailer. I wonder how long it will take to get it over here?
I also snuck out to see New Moon with K3. We sat in the dark in our gym pants and held hands. She loved it. I squirmed. Maybe it will grow on me???
