Word-Filled Wednesday

Ointment
Biopsy
Oozing
Crusting
Inflamed
Itching
Madness
Sleepless
%$#*%$# Eczema

Help.

I have eliminated gluten, dairy, soy, peanuts and sugar. Which means no wine. And today? Out goes the caffeine. Does anybody have any ideas? I think I am allergic to myself.

Ooh - don't like that word biopsy.
Sounds like you're doing everything right. Soak in a tub of oatmeal - supposed to help with skin irritations.

Seriously. I think I am too. Hopkins is trying to make a case of it for me. No one has explanations.

I feel for you....been there and done that. I had a similar issue this weekend....too much tailgating and I am paying the price. Trying to determine allergies is total trial and error. I think I am allergic to chocolate! GAH!

I think you're allergic to deprivation, any BODY would retaliate after cutting out all of the good stuff. I don't like like biopsy word either. Or oozing or crusty. Adding you to my prayers!

When I changed soap powder for laundry, my husbands got better. We went to Drift and I use Fabric softener sheets that have nothing added like perfumes or anything else.

Grandson had it terrible on just his hands, so we got some type of an ointment and while he stayed here, we bought a clean pair of cotton gloves, cut the finger tips off for him and had him sleep in them. While he was here, it did get better. I honestly think he finally outgrew it. He only had it on his hands. Abe had it on his back and chest, a few spots on his arms.

Try going without any processed foods for a bit. Then shoot yourself because you can't have wine or processed food. (Just kidding on the shooting part.)

My vote is to factor the wine back in. I think you're going through withdrawals.

Seeing how I am a victim and an expert on horrible skin conditions, I would get an appointment with a dermatologist. Stress is a key factor. I have some stuff I can mail you that will clear it up. You just say the word. Shitty, itchy skin sucks!

Gah! My son gets a rash on his arms from ketchup, of all things! When it gets bad he takes generic Clairitin for a couple weeks until it goes away... Yours sounds a little worse though.
