Mom's on their kids fb pages always have disastrous results...

I don't see anything wrong with writing on his fb page!

I love these conversations that you share. I try to keep in mind that my seven year old son, who still automatically reaches for my hand when we go to cross the street, who tells me he loves me at every opportunity, will one day not want to be seen with me.

What DID you write on his page previously??

Growing pains is right! I say keep reading the Facebook page even if you don't get to comment!

David doesn't have one anymore, but I have to be very discreet on what I write on mine & his friend's regarding him.

I love phd's comment. Go Mama!!

my son never fails to make me laugh, his friends added ME i did not add them so he will tolerate my comments on his FB on rare occasion.... but the made my life when he was in high school and needed me to bring him something and he kissed me good by and told me he loves me in front of the whole mob that was in the commons area that day :)
he still will hug or kiss me in public i love it... of course there is a flip side too... he tries his best to embarrass me at any opportunity too... on tax free shopping day in the mall... in a line of about a billion people he started screaming at the top of his considerably loud voice in a great varuca salt mannor.... BUT MOMMA I WANT THIS AND I WANT IT NOW!!!! I LOVE YOU MOMMA PLEASE DONT SPANK ME!!! this coming from a 6 ft 285 pound man LMAO!!! all i could do was LAUGH AND LAUGH!

Now that I'm active on FB my son stopped using his... He only uses his MySpace, which I stay away from. My daughter still doesn't care if I comment. I guess the day is coming when she does... *sigh*

I love to read some mom and kids facebook exchange...especially the ones like, you are worrying me, and I hope that doesn't mean what it sounds like it means. Oh, yeah, it did. FB...it can trigger trauma.

I'm on FB with my kids, my nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters, etc. It is a great way to keep up with everyone. My kids don't mind....at least they haven't 'defriended' me yet!

Meg McCormick said...

That's a killer, isn't it? I watch my son's page... but realized quickly that comments are likely to get me unfriended.

These are very entertaining, really. I wonder if anyone's written a book made up entirely of facebook conversations yet? Don't laugh-someone either already has or will tomorrow.

Diane said...

That's so sad. At least you're still allowed to read it!

You can write on my facebook anytime. Does that help?
