Requiem

Noelle--October 15, 2009
Our wonderful cat died in her sleep on Saturday night.
I was in Virginia with The Baby Bird.
And Squazz was home with our sweet, sick kitten (she was ten).
She waited for him to find her....
We did everything possible to save our sweet Noelle.
We adopted her at 5 months...
She was feral.
She had a heart murmur.
She was undernourished.
We loved her for ten years.
And she loved us.
We had every test and medicine there was.
And she died in her sleep...
After a day of loving her people and her dog...
Godspeed Noelle...you were so loved.

I am so, so sorry. It is amazing how much love our pets are capable of giving us. This is heartbreaking. I am thinking of all of you.

I'm so sorry that you lost a member of your pack.. your family. She had a far better life than anyone could hope for a feral critter. No doubt she knew how much she was loved. Hugs to you.

What a beautiful cat. And what a wonderful life you gave one who had such a rough start in life. It brings tears to my eyes to know how fortunate she was to find you. And you her.

She loved well - especially her Dora - and was well loved.

I am so, so sorry. There just isn't anything I can say that will really help...but I will give Frank and Nancy an extra treat each in Noelle's honor.

She mattered, and she will be missed.

I'm so so so sorry.

I'm going to go cuddle Geronimo and Griffy and Gracie, and even Godiva, if she'll let me, and think of your precious, beautiful little Noelle.

What a moving tribute.

I'm sorry for your loss. Animals have a way of worming their way into our lives, that we don't even realize it until they are gone.

I know how hard it is to lose a loved one. Noelle had a wonderful life with her family and was grateful you took her into your home. You have a kind heart and she will stay with you always.

Oh, I hate cat years. And I hate letting them go even if it's time because it never seems like enough time for all that love. What an empty space they leave. What wonderful memories. What large love.

I am so sorry! I always cry for days when I lose an animal.

Creatures do have a way of working their way into the deepest recesses of our hearts. I know she'll be missed.

Oh dang it, I hate it when I sit at the computer and cry like a baby. But I know you loved her so much and our pets are such a part of our families. I am thankful that you have such a tender heart and were willing to give her every chance in life to be happy. I don't care what anyone says, God takes care of all his creatures, she is in a happy place now too.
May your pain lessen with each day, and may you smile when you think of her.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's hard losing a pet. We have five dogs, our one daughters cat, a guinea pig and asst. birds, hamsters, gerbils and a few fish, all buried in our back yard.

AW! I'm so sorry. As the owner of a 17-year-old cat who is clearly on his last days, it makes me especially sad when I hear that someone's pet kitty died. My friend just went through it, and two of my neighbors did too within the past couple of years. I joke about what a PIA my cat is, but honestly, I don't want to think about him not being here.

I don't mind telling you, though, that if he continues to YELL-MEOW every morning at 5:30am, he may meet an untimely demise.

KIDDING.

Truly sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss. Pets are just a part of our family, aren't they?

Also, on the trim juice, I am not so sure on the appetite depressant, but the juice is good...
