We Need These

Victoria Beckham takes her children to the mall.
Those look like the best mall-walking shoes I've ever seen.
I almost didn't post this because I thought we needed a shoe break.
So you can thank The Baroness and Deb for egging me on.

Those shoes weigh more than she does ... and I think she has a girl crush on Katie Holmes ....

I knew you had it in you!

Go here to see he really spikey metal heels. These shoes are multi purpose...assisting in walking device and weapon!

When you weigh all of 17lbs the shoes don't hurt as much.

She looks like an idiot. or a hooker. Or an idiot hooker. Just sayin.

That looks painful. Mall shopping should be barefoot.

Cold foods make my teeth ache...this picture makes my feet ache. I think the comment I left on Deb's blog bears repeating.

Long ago I left the corporate world of Chicago (nine years to be exact) to take a job in Fairburn GA. I gave up my designer suits, panty hose, carefully applied makeup, power lunches, and office with a view. What I don't miss most are the shoes -- those horrible, painful high heels that made my feet ache for years. I'm a laid back Georgia girl now...and I'm loving my flats!

One must keep up appearances when one is out and about.

It's why I wear my Hermann Survivors with pride.

What we don't see in this picture:

1. one nanny for each child
2. a stretch limo waiting at the curb of the mall
3. the limo is equipped with a foot jacuzzi and a margarita machine

OK, I'll say what everyone else is thinking: "I'd give ANYTHING to have legs like that! And I wouldn't say no to Becks, either..."

Love the shoes, Lauren. Just couldn't walk very far in them.
xoxo,
Mary

Hanging my head sheepishly here.
I USED to work an 8 hour day wearing shoes like that.

Alas, nevermore!

Help! I've fallen off my shoes and I can't pick up my Prada purse.

She's gonna have some nasty, knarly, hammer toes and bunions when she's old (if she doesn't already).

not knarly - gnarly - geez!

I wear shoes like that when I online shop. For actual trips to the mall I wouldn't be caught dead without my HIGHER-heeled platform shoes. Otherwise referred to as gravity-defying stilts.

One must be willing to suffer for fashion and beauty, you know.

BWA!!!

Ouch ! Those make my teeth hurt...maybe because I just got home from the dentist.

Go check out the post and let me know if I need to make corrections/additions.
Thanks for your contribution.

She could skewer some vegetables, steak and shrimp on those heels, hold them over a hot flame and have herself some dinner.

But I doubt she'd do that.

I'm very happy that I don't have to dress like a pole dancer to go to the mall.

Peace - D

I only need those if I want a broken leg!

Do you think at the end of the day her feet hurt...boy, mine would!!!! Maybe...if my legs were that small my feet wouldn't hurt...who knows...I'll never know...they'll never be that small...
