I did five loads yesterday. Of course flylady.net proclaims that a load per day would prevent all this catastrophe, and if I actually did the math, five loads in one day is almost the same as doing one small load every day, but just spread out.(She also says to swish your toilet brush around every day and wipe down your sinks every day. Right! That's really easy! And just what I want to do every day as I'm racing to get ready for work and children ready for school.)

Somehow I just cannot get with the program. Who in the WORLD wants to do laundry every day? And if this person exists, I'll take out a second mortgage for you to come here and do mine.

I'm not passionate about this topic at all though.

One of the reasons why being an empty nester isn't so bad.

without children in the house, I have but 3 loads every 5 days or so. I found that my son was the generator of dirty clothes! There's an upside to empty nester.

I'll send help only if they come to my house first!

What is it about laundry that it increases exponentially every day that you ignore it? Do we ever actually see the bottom of the hamper?

after I dig my way out of mine, you'll be my first stop!!! I'm coming, hang on!

1. Your kids don't do laundry?
2. The downside to kids doing laundry is that I can never get my load started.
3. How much laundry can teenagers have?

Have you seen the commercial where a GIANT ball of laundry crashes into a family's yard and stops right in front of the woman? They filmed that at my house...

Isn't it the truth???? If you let one day go, it seems to magnify one hundred times.

It's not the actual washing or drying I hate, it's the aftermath (a.k.a. folding/hanging/putting away---yuck).

Oh my Dog...this is my life and I only have one NSLO and one Husband.

WHen did you sneak in to my Laundry room??

Don't hate me, but doing laundry is the ONE chore that I don't mind...

Now cleaning bathrooms is another story...

That is exactly what my laundry is going to do now that I'm afraid of carrying it to the basement!

I just saw that exact pile in my laundry room!

As the weather gets colder, Larry wears more and more clothes to work - he can make a pile like that in 5 minutes after he gets home.

I have a load in the washer, a load in the dryer, and at least 3 loads waiting. Yeah! The fun never ends. I know, I should be proud to have clothing. I realize that, but I wish that someone would invent something better. Gorgeous throw away clothing would be nice, but then, we wouldn't want to throw it away... hmmm.

Isn't that the truth? : ). It just never ends. It multiplies!
