I seriously hate you (okay not really) for being able to have a pool cover. Ours is uncoverable becuase of all the levels and steps around it. It sucks..big time.
For a minute, before I scrolled down and noticed there were more pictures, I kept studying the football equipment wondering how in the world that could be a shaving calamity.
I am deadly when it comes to shaving. Everytime I change to a new razor or blade and it looks as though someone attempted suicide. Is shaving really necessary? Good thing you had a pedicure to show off those lovely toes! If there is a connection between the lot, then I am brain dead...as usual.
I hate winter. I'm feeling sorry for myself. I only have a little mudpuddle that needs covering. I don't want to do it just yet. I'm hanging on as long as I can.
I wasn't looking for a connection, I just thought you were showing a picture of the football equipment, your cut (and pedicure!), the flowers and the pool closing. If I was suppose to put it together... I failed misreably. Oh well,I am retired you know!!!=)
Your zinnias are beautiful! I've moved on to mums now.
We have that same pool cover. Our cat uses it as an ice skating rink in the winter. Have you ever been tempted to walk on it to see if it's as sturdy as they say it is?
Shave? Am I supposed to shave my legs of unwanted hair? During the winter months I embrace the hair. Well, not entirely so. I can go 2-3 days without the need for whacking my legs. With colder temps and a return to long pants, who else but me will notice if I get a tad stubbly? (I can just about hear my daughter groan at this. My goal in life is to embarrass her...shamelessly).
Come to Arizona and it IS STILL HOT and you could use your pool...LIFE does make me sigh as well...and the pool and the football season and it just all makes me sad when it ends and starts winding down and I always cut my self shaving when I'm hurrying in my life but it is so nice to remember to stop and smell the flowers....and your pedi is nice too!
Be thankful. My daughter is still airing her soccer stuff in the library. When told to put it in the mudroom she says, "No, it smells." She is worried that her smelly soccer stuff will get even smellier from being next to the recycling basket and some old boots?! This from a kid who has not seen the floor in her room for months... xoxo, Mary
Awww, I mourn the UNcovered pool. And I seriously don't like it when skin and bone does battle with the shaver. However, as has already been noted, you have a really nice pedi. So did I, until the sands of St. Pete Beach beat it up a little. I can live with that. :)
Hubby was just talking about planting zinnias in our backyard. I love zinnias. This poor girl's version of gebera daisy. And the deer don't eat them. Big factor in these parts.
I am with Noble Pig on that pool cover business. Ours in uncoverable because of the shape. Or at least it would cost a fortune to have one special made. Living surrounded by trees and junk it is a total pain.

That time of year?! I get everything but the bandage. I think.
unlike flea the bandage is the one I get! LOL
An explanation. Of sorts.
Augie has relocated his airing out space.
Shaving calamity.
At least I have some zinnias left.
Pool is shut down for the season.
sigh.
I hate looking into the back yard and seeing the pool cover - it makes me realize that summer is officially over.
Hope you shaving injury heals fast.
Fun, chaotic collection of photos. Hope the ankle heals quickly. And those flowers are lovely.
still have that great polish on though! The pool picture is sad :-( bye bye summer who forgot to come to England this year...

The only calamity happening here is my brain.
I've not had nearly enough coffee.

As opposed to skin on your ankle?
Youch!
So that's what the inside of football pads look like!
Sorry about your boo boo! Or is it more than a boo boo? That's a huge bandaid!
Just shut down our pool. Although I'm sad, I'm done with it.

Maybe it's time to move onto an electric razor. Just perhaps?? Your zinnia's look so much better than mine.
The zinnias are pretty, so that's something, right?
I feel ya...the warmer temps have winded down it seems.
Come and cover my pool (my bay), won't ya?
Sorry to hear about the shaving issue...ouch!!!

Ok, at least Augie is not airing out in the house! Oh wait..the laundry!
Be careful of the shaving accident, I got a staph infection that way. Nice pedicure BTW!
Green with envy for the pool even if it is covered!
I did not have any zinnas this year, opted for eggplant which yeilded one eggplant and lots of blooms.

I am so ready for winter!!!! So, no sympathy with the pool cover, but the shaving calamity? Well, that sucks.
I tagged ya, dear.
Not a very flattering angle for my ankle, is it?

You MUST stop shaving and get that pesky hair lasered off ... seriously
