It's been almost a week since I returned from my little junket to Miami.
And I am going to reveal a dirty little secret.
I haven't unpacked yet.
Well, I did do some.
Just not all of it.
I've been busy.
Sort of busy.
See those little green suede loafers?
They have been through the wringer.
And that grocery bag? Full of baby pictures.
My babies are 17.
I may or may not finish unpacking today.
In the meantime, let's look at some pictures I took while I was driving down the Merritt Parkway and in Greenwich on Monday.

I am the worst (slowest) unpacker. One time I decided to unpack immediately and I can't believe how good it felt, especially seeing that my husband decided to take forever and I had this warm, gloaty feeling (he usually unpacks first). But it didn't last. I still have a suitcase out from two weekends ago.

OH HOW I WISH WE SAW CHANGING COLORS HERE....It is still 95 degrees.....GROSS!!!!! I am soooooo sick of it! I never unpack...not a good thing...I just use it as I need it and it gradually gets put back where it goes...thank goodness I only go somewhere once in a blue moon...

I still haven't unpacked from my move in 2001. And if it makes you feel any better, I took a trip out of town October 3rd, and my bags are still tossed in a corner. Unpacked.

Dear Wino-- LOL. You know for a fact that said white, shedding cat only sleeps on clean clothes.
What a relief! I thought I was the only person who left their suitcase packed until it was needed for the next trip! Now I know I am in good company:)
Those fall photos are beautiful. I took some along my driveway the other day, but I can't seem to get them to load in the right order. I guess that will be my weekend project!
I want that iPhone case .. you could give me that in place of the sole suckers ... I'm just sayin'

My suitcase is unpacked from my trip to Missouri, but it's still sitting by the dresser in my bedroom....I went to Missouri last July. Think I'll just leave it there till my next trip.
I am sooo loving the chair with the needlepoint pillow in your bedroom. I could sit in that chair and not see anything in the floor. I'm good that way.
God, I love you. Why? Because you are you and that is totally cool.

At least you have room to walk around the suitcase and "stuff". If that were in my room, I would have to hop over each item till it was moved!!!
I love the trees, I am hoping that in the next couple weeks we will have the changing of the colors. My fear is, no change, just straight to the ground! we will see!?

Let me tell you something...I have lived for almost 36 years with a man who the moment the suitcases hit the floor of our home, they are unpacked, laundry started and suitcases are whisked away. I mean,if I go to the bathroom first, it is all done. hint...I often have to go to the bathroom!
Beautiful fall color up in your neck of the woods. Our color is just beginning to flourish.
I lova the falla...the colors, the weather...And if you delay that unpacking maybe another trip will sneak up on you.
Unpacking is one of my top procrastinations. Dusting is too *sigh* not enough room for all my procrastinations. Love the pics :o)

YES! someone else takes pictures while driving. I won't apply makeup, but I will hold the camera on the steering wheel to catch a cool building :-)
