Tuesday Tidbits

  • After going to meet my furniture in Tennessee, I am back in Connecticut until Saturday.
  • On Sunday, our beloved dog Dora was kicked by a deer and seriously hurt.  She underwent surgery, and has a jagged gash on her right side.  She also has a drain that will come out tomorrow.  The stitches will remain for two weeks.  The good news is that she doesn't have any broken ribs or any internal damage.  She will be okay.  But it sure scared all of us.  She will be well enough for the car trip to Tennessee on Saturday.
  • My new place is smaller than I remembered it being, but I love it.  And my storage unit is very full! My sister-in-law has declared the new place "quaint."  I have to agree.
  • I desperately need to get my hair done.
  • I had over 300 emails in my spam folder this morning.
  • I am obsessed with Instagram.
  • I am also very, very tired.

Oh I'm so sorry about Dora, I had no idea that deers could be violent like that. Now you've made me wonder if the deer in our garden are actually harming the baby fox we have too.

So sorry to hear about Dora, and so glad she is okay.

I'm incredibly excited for you and your move. I'll give you fair warning before I drive up to visit. :-)

Poor Dora! So glad that she is going to be OK!

Moving would be much easier if you had the $$ to just chuck everything and start over :)

I was so happy to learn that Dora would be okay. Drive safely on Saturday; we'll be waiting to know about the trip.

Aquarians are quaint.

Glad to hear that Dora is on the mend. What a freakish thing to happen. I'm hoping that the damn deer will be dinner for someone!
