A celebration of two new 20-year-olds, thousands of miles apart:
Mama does her best to be cheerful and looks forward to seeing them soon. The new 20-year-olds, however, are just fine. And back at home? Business as usual. Accidentally calling Mom and ignoring her weather warnings.
Just your average week here. How are things at your house?

Love it! How wonderful these days to be able to keep up with your children when they're far away like the little bird. :)
Caffeine not yet kicked in. What be IDK?
Thank God for parenttexting. When David was young and running around the neighborhood, I bought us walkie-talkies so I could keep up with him.
He actually responded back then. Gah.
About to get in a pickle here. His new roommate starts working up here next week and they have not been approved for the apartment yet.
I do not want anymore people here. Not even myself sometimes LOL
Waiting for things to settle back to my normal boring routine.
I should blog, dammit.
Love you :)
Only last week did I learn what IDK means ... if only we'd had texting back in my day as a teen .. typing IDK is a lot easier and more open to interpretation than a sullen leave me alone/I dont care ... sigh I was a horrible child/teen ..
Oh! 'I don't know.' Thanks, Daryl. I believe I can now make good use of IDK.
I always get a chuckle out of those "accidental" phone calls or texts. And then, they don't want to talk.
We have a new dryer that we hate; it sounds like a dying seal and I have a load of towels in there now that have been drying for two hours. Still not dry.
School starts Friday!
I'm not allowed to text so I'm glad to have the Skype thing-y.
Otherwise, I get many *pocket calls*, LOL!
My week is okay. Happy birthday to the twins!
Poor mama bird. Happy birthday to your babies. :)
