Tuesday Text: Parentexting™

This week, we have a nice tempo with our communication.
A certain give and take...
My son may actually have learned some Spanish after all.
He could be a useful tutor.
If I can only get him to answer me on a timely basis.
And I still find time to give motherly advice.
Please notice my calm demeanor when the little cherub,
going through fraternity rush, informs me of his Plan B:
Gah.
Or as they say en español: gahio

I always look forward to your Tuesday texts! I don't know why, but they remind me of myself and MY son who is away at school right now. But - we only have Facebook chats - which is still better than nothing!

Su espanol is muy bueno! (bien?)

I am soooooo keeping mine at the age they are now.

But then again they would be stuck with me the rest of their life...that would suck for them.

Are you kidding me? Augie will so get into a good fraternity & it'll be way more fun than Rugby. Actually, he could probably still play rugby too. SD did a top sorority, played intramural soccer and worked as a runner at a law firm, and was still looking for things to do... However, the sororities don't do the hazing thing. But, I think it's strongly frowned upon & basically illegal now.

Anyhoo, I shall keep my fingers crossed for him!

RUGBY! When I was in college back in the Dark Ages, the frat boys all played rugby. They were hot. Relatively speaking.

Both honorable sports...

Pobrecito mama y oh my gahio.

Rugby is like football with no protective gear, no? At that little school in Charlottesville, rugby players would just drink lots of cerveza to ward off any pain.

But that's not at all what you wanted to hear, so never mind. Lo siento.
