Today's Aquarius Horoscope:
Dec 28, 2009

Someone has just turned on the fan, and papers are flying everywhere, dear Aquarius. The pace of things is picking up, and you are scrambling to pick up the pieces. Stay in close communication with others today, for this will be your saving grace. You may require the assistance of others to help fetch the stack of important documents that has blown across the room. Keep a close eye on things so you don't loose your place in the game.

Just when you get everything in order. Poof. It can be gone in an instant. And learning to ask for help from others and to then receive it is one of life's most important lessons. This reminder comes across my desk this morning as a gift from the Universe. And I think we can all use it.

indeed.

we seldom like to ask others for assistance. just our stubborn nature i suppose.

going to make sure my papers are weighted down this morning...lol.

Very wise words indeed. That's a hard lesson to learn, that asking for help thing. The receiving part to me is the easier part of the equation, but the asking is hard.

If those papers fly too far south, I'll grab them and hold them for you.

I am learning to ask ... and learning to listen ... I am hoping that today among those flying papers is our closing HUD ... followed closely by a check .. crossing all crossable digits!

Funny....I was just pondering this as I took a shower this morning...I took Christmas decorations down yesterday and had a difficult time asking for help from my family...why is that, I wondered? Why am I unable to delegate - or ask for assistance?

Good post - and very timely, for me, anyway!

Thanks!

The asking is hard, but I've done it and will continue to do it as I need help. Because I will help others.

Something most people find hard to do. I know I did for a long, long time. However I am learning how to again.

I'm taking it. Thanks for sharing.

I don't have too much trouble asking. It's the kicking butt when nobody steps up that I have trouble with.

So, um, would you mind going to the store for me? I NEED to finish blogging, and I'm low on holiday liquor. Thanks ever so much, and happy new year!

Yep...crap all over the place here. Time to straighten up. Yep.

If I ask for help cleaning up Christmas, will you accept the challenge? Will the universe? Please?

so if that was my horoscope I would turn off all the fans...just sayin.

I always just figure that no one else will take the same care putting things away, as I will. So, I do it all myself. Lately, I'm beginning to not care, as long as it gets done. *sigh*

I'm not going to remember where anything is by next Christmas anyway, lol. Uh-Huh! I proved that to myself this Christmas.

Oh gosh. It's your horoscope, but it sure struck a nerve or two in me. First, there's the admitting of the needing of help. That, right there...that first step...is a tough one. Then, to ask for help? Whoa. Those things, I guess, are why my way of thinking that people will just magically know and offer to help don't work, huh? Hmmm...how about that! :)

Your deep and thoughtful words sort of took me back. You are such a paradox at times...on one side of the scale humor and wit...on the other wisdom and grace...and I adore you.

Wisdom at it's best. At least for a Monday.

Asking for help. Even my boss reminds me that this is not one of my better skills. What a timely reminder...
