Heartbreaking. :(
Oh that aches..
I'll try to focus on the beauty of that love. Wow.
What loyalty! I just hope someone is making sure the dog is fed . . . he deserves that much.
Saw this on the news and it made me cry .. do you know the story of the Japanese professor whose dog waited for him at the train station for years every nite after the professor died while at his office ...
Thanks for sharing that very poignant photo and story. That just breaks my heart.
His heart is breaking, as is mine. Faithfulness is a cherished quality.
Oh my. So very, very sad. :(
Poor little Boo Boo Dog. That is a love to treasure.
It's a love like no other.
years and years ago i had a little dog who was friends with the neighbors dog..unfortunately my little dog liked to roam and back in those days we were taught that dogs belong outside.. my little dog met an untimely demise on one of his little adventures. After retrieving my little dog and having a proper funeral the neighbors little dog remained at the burial for days. Eventually the neighbor gave up and said if we wanted the dog we could have him. He stayed our dog for the next umpteen years when he finally passed away peacefully of old age.
and just think my kids teacher told him dogs don't go to heaven because they don't have souls... (I told her she needed to look in the mirror)
I saw that online earlier today - so sad!
I can't stand it. That is heartbreaking.
Dogs can be our teachers. We have a lot to learn. Thanks for posting it since I missed it.
and on the bright side of the page... Dora would do the same for you. and I will still cry.
Awww that is so sad.
[heart lull]
=( Sweet, beautiful dog.
Oh, that is just so heartbreaking! That sweet face...
...An angel. *wiping tear* :o\
...Blessings... :o)
First thought was of what Daryl said. The story of that dog broke my heart and so does this :(
Oh, Lord. Hear my prayer.
Daryl, I'd never heard that one. Oh!
Oh my goodness. Heartbreaking.
Daryl, that was made into a movie with Richard Gere - I think the name is Hatchi. It was on Hallmark Channel this week. I refused to watch it. The cry-factor was WAY over the top top top, though it was an feel-good movie from the reviews.
Actually it is "Hachi, a Dog's Tail"
That is the most heartbreaking photo. :-(
Now that is love.
this just broke my heart. I hope someone is caring for this loyal little guy...
So incredibly sad.
That makes my heart hurt...
