Miss K treated me to another excellent adventure on Sunday. We drove to Hartford to see the
Trans Siberian Orchestra. And, let me just tell you now, if you ever get the chance, you must go. They are that good.
We started out in the early afternoon and soon discovered that the entire state of Massachusetts had emptied out for Thanksgiving. They were all returning home on Sunday, and they were in danger of making us late for our show. We were not happy. We yelled at them to get out of our way.
We made it to our seats with ONE minute to spare. And did I tell you yet that Miss K got SECOND ROW seats? I know I am screaming, but it was just that good. What a show.

This guy? He was my favorite. He winked at me.
Me! Mental P Mama IN THE SECOND ROW!
In my snappy turtleneck and red sweater. Gah.
Next year I'm breaking out a better outfit.
And we are going to sit CLOSER. Right Miss K?

The drums were mind boggling.

Anna the fiddler never sits still.
I think that's how she stays the size of a sparrow.

I am going to take some violin lessons.
And try out for the team;)
Unbelievable.
Did I mention we were in THE SECOND ROW?

They even made it snow.
On our SECOND ROW seats.

They also had fire.
It was hot--especially in THE SECOND ROW.

After the show, we repaired across the street.
To let the traffic clear;
Maybe also for a cocktail.
And to relive the whole wonderful thing.
What a way to start the holidays.

They are that good.
Thanks, K!
