Tuesday Text: Parentexting™

The one where my baby boy comes home for an overnight visit, and I get to see him for an hour. And that was because I made him go out to brunch.

In his defense, college is hard this semester:
He has had many obligations and missions:
And when he and his adorable friends met me for brunch on Sunday, he dropped his phone. Like all other 19 year-olds, this phone is his lifeline. It was not pretty:
The ensuing table banter went something like this:
Augie: I need you to understand that not only is my screen shattered, my life is now shattered.
Mental P: [Could not respond because she was trying not to wet her pants and shoot water out her nose due to guffawing activity.]
I guess there's one holiday list I can stop wondering about. The end.

YOU WOULD BE SO PROUD OF ME...
i told her that she needed to take care of buying the stamps and mailing her invitations herself that bringing them back to me would just not work... i think she was stunned... but like i said she CAN dredge up enough money for 8 stamps... GAH! baby steps...

I'm pretty sure that Buzz doesn't need a phone. Doesn't he just use that thing attached to his wrist?

Nevertheless, glad your shopping is now finished.

I would have paid good money to watch you shoot water out your nose. Well, maybe if you were behind a glass wall!!
You better today??

To infinity and beyond...Buzz couldn't fix the phone? I thought Buz could do anything...now my illusions are shattered.

OMG. That costume is hilarious. As was this post. Except the part about the broken phone. Trying not to chuckle, though.

OMG.

How can anything in this post (including the broken phone) be taken seriously with him wearing that costume? He looks like a baby eaglet.

I'm pretty sure you have bribery material for life. Does his rugby team know about this outfit?
