Just sent email to the Rescue Mission. I can't get the homeless outta my head. Everyone in the U.S. should have a place to lay their weary head.
And every child should have food to eat! Thanks hon :)

this is why we do what we do to "pay it forward" or help others and give when we dont really have it to give...NO child or person in america should ever be hungry...and once they are all taken care of no one in the WORLD should be hungry, God made us all we need and smart enough to use it... but somewhere along the line the smart part got greedy and messed up.
sigh... stepping off the soap box now.
Going now. Things like this really make me angry. WHY are we bailing other countries when we have hungry children? (I borrowed Laura's soap box since she said she was finished with it).
Wonderful idea. Went and took the pledge. Now to spread the word. No child deserves to go hungry in this land of plenty.
As I do every year I am making a deposit at the local food bank and dropping off a coat or two we no longer use ... I hope everyone who reads your blog today does take the pledge ..
The thought of a hungry child breaks my heart......
