I have enjoyed the periodic company of my children this past week.
Periodic being the operative word.
Augie brought some clothes to be laundered.
Imagine that.
Only three more loads of darks and this will be finished.
I wonder if he has done any laundry since he left here in August?
And every single sock is inside out.
He can take care of sorting those puppies....
gah
Secretly? I loved every minute of it.
Happy Weekend, my friends!

I remember when my brother went away to uni and used to arrive home with a large bag full of dirty clothes. It used to stink too!
When I was at uni I lived at home. Ha. Poor mother.
I did several loads of laundry yesterday too and all socks were inside out. When I attempted to right-side-out one pair, piles of grass clippings fell out of both socks. Mind you, this is after they've been washed and dried.
Enjoy the weekend, and may it be laundry-free.
CBW washes her grass? lol
I have a large mountain of laundry to do as we had to treat the well, let it sit for 12 hours and now need to make sure there is no more chlorine in the water before washing. Yay.
Such a sweet mama. So happy for you the little ones are back in the next for a little while, anyway.
Love the shot....a glimpse into my future :)
Happy mama!
But he does know how to do his laundry, right? Just saying!
you go mama! lol... socks ACK
Toonman does the laundry in our house and he constantly complains about inside out things ... however when it comes time to fold and put away its me who is doing the un-inside outing... and somehow there's always a sock missing..
I know you enjoy every single second, and seeing every sock too!
Hope you have a great weekend!
Augie's sock pile looks just like David's...
I know you've enjoyed seeing them AND the laundry. Makes us feel needed LOL
Maybe I should start going and picking up David's laundry....
NOT!
Hey, I'm going to drop off my laundry so that you can do it too! LOL!
Enjoy! ours have all graduated now....and the visits are more seldom....we have become redundant....smiles.
So hate doing the socks ... and why must there always be a missing one. My missing sock pile grows larger than the sock drawer!
Fun!!
Aww, memories of that here...but I agree, love every moment!!
You were born to mother. I refuse to do my son's laundry anymore.
hahahaha I saw a sign the other day....YOUR LAUNDRY IS DONE.....THE ASHES ARE IN THE FIREPLACE! I laughed because when all of my sons and their Dad were all living under our roof...their socks made me C R A Z Y!!!!!! But when they return home for a bit.....IT IS A TRUE {SECRET} JOY!!!!
