Dads, Present and Future

Augie and his Dad;
June 7, 2009
Even though I am no longer married to the father of my wonderful children,
I want to wish him a very heartfelt Happy Father's Day.
We have definitely had our times,
but I cannot imagine raising these guys with anyone else.
Our children have enjoyed:
a kind, gentle, stubborn, loving, generous, stubborn, wonderful father.
We've stayed the parental course, and enjoy our right to be proud....
Always keeping these amazing babies in mind:
Every child is a precious gift.
Happy Father's Day to all the great Dads out there.
And I hope my son becomes a Dad just like his own, someday....

You are one heck of a mom. Your children look a lot like their dad. Then again they look like you too. How is that? :))

Amen to that! There's nothing like a great Dad.

What a wonderful person you are. So often it is too easy to remain bitter and resentful of a stubborn ex (and aren't they all stubborn, really?)and lose focus of the most important thing of all - the kids.

Happy Father's Day - you have some beautiful kids.

I just LOVE their little collars on their heirloom outfits..how cute and adorable. I sure hope you saved those...if not, I guess I will be doing some recreation work one day.

You ALL did an amazing job with those wonderful babies. Have a great day.

Can't wait to hug YOU! I will not let go either...EVER.

You are truly a woman of honor crediting your ex for his hand in raising the children and what a wonderful lesson you have taught your children.

It's nice you feel that way. My ex and I are friendly toward one another, too. I realized quite awhile ago that I was going to have to be a grandparent with him for the rest of my life so I should make the most of a not-so-great situation. Blessings to you and your family! *Ü*

That was so sweet. A tribute to your ex-husband is very enlightened! He must be very special.

Your children are adorable!

Your boy looks like his dad. And his dad looks amazingly like William Shatner in that photo.

What a nice tribute! I can see a really good mixture of the both of you in the kids...isn't it great that our children have such great fathers to look up to? You get a lot of the credit for these terrific twins as well....

Your children are beautiful and it's so great you and their father have remained bonded as parents. Such an unselfish way to be for your children's sake. This would be a better world if all parents, together or split, could work together to raise great adults.
