This 'n That Thursday

Mindlessness:

  • I have a job interview later this morning.  Could be interesting.
  • I need to dash out and buy some stockings.
  • It's humid here today, and I am not looking forward to said stockings.  Or the suit jacket either.
  • Wish me luck.
  • I am down another 3 pounds.  Wheat free living is the life for me.
  • My nephew plays football for the school my brothers attended.  I hope to go to every game.  They need more cowbell, though.
  • I am the big sister to my brothers, but they are basically my mentors.  They are incredible men.
  • I cannot wait to change my car tags.  I can see all the Tennessee cops eyeing this old yankee gal with her Connecticut plates.
  • FYI: I have taken the steps to re-register the car, it just takes time.
  • I am having dinner with a college suitemate, her parents and her daughter on Saturday night.  I am thrilled.
  • Oh yeah, this daughter is also my god daughter.  Thrilled.
  • Okay.  Gotta go get some stockings.  Go get my game face on, and get this day under way.
  • Have a great day, everyone.  Be safe.

Stockings? Oh my, I feel the need to breathe into a brown paper bag for a while. The whole thought makes me ill. How about sandals and a pretty pedicure instead? Or pants? LOL, don't mind me. I haven't worn stockings in about 20 years. In a heated fit of chafing one summer, I swore off of them for the rest of my life.

I hope the interview goes well for you!!!

I can't remember when I last wore stockings. Especially in this muggy weather. So . . . how did it go?!!

Stockings - ugh. Another great idea obviously invented by a man who will never have to wear them.

Good luck with your interview.

How did it go? I have to admit I haven't worn stockings in forever & hate them. Yet, if I am dressed up, I don't feel dressed up in bare legs. I always have my toes painted but I have the yuckiest white skin!!

Can't remember the last time I wore stockings. Have a good interview but only take the job if you love it and they love you!

I HATE stockings. Hope the interview went well.

I still need to plan a trip out there for the fall. Maybe I can bring more cowbell.

I have a dresser drawer that contains several pairs of stockings and some knee-highs, none of which I've worn in years. I remember being so excited when my mom finally let me wear "nylons" when I was a teenager. Now I can't get far enough away from them.

So, it is only wheat that you've eliminated from your diet? I had also gotten rid of sugar and potatoes and lost a few pounds fast at the beginning of the summer. I gotta get back on the wagon.

So how'd the interview go?
