This 'n That Thursday

Utter nonsense:

  • All of my medications have "x's" in them.
  • I am obsessed with Gotye.
  • What are those white fluffy things floating everywhere?
  • I am taking my nephews their birthday cards tonight.  Their birthday was two weeks ago.  I consider myself right on time.
  • I cannot believe how much unknown I have in my future right now, and how very happy I feel.
  • I believe it cost me more to take Dora to the vet yesterday for her checkup than it does for mine.
  • She is fine by the way...maybe a few pounds overweight, but very good.
  • Getting hair done tomorrow.  Cannot wait.
  • The Bird and I went to the New York Botanical Garden last weekend...amazing.
  • I am always hot.  And not in a good way.
  • Coffee creamer made from coconut milk is the bomb.
You?

If you lived in Kansas, I'd say those white things are summer snow aka the junk off of cottonwood trees.

I've been trying to figure out how to say their name. Gotye = Got Ye. or Gotye = Go Tie. Or Gotye = Goat. How?!?

Don't know what the white things are, but I'll tell you this: my neighbor's air conditioner unit is drivin' me MAD going zingzingzing, loud! She's in a nursing home after surgery, and oh do I hate to call her. Tell me what to do!!! :)

I'm glad you're happy; that's marvelous darlin'. :)

I could not stop watching that video! I've never even heard of him...

Those fluffy thingys must be Cottonwood trees shedding.

After finally growing out of menopause, I actually get cold a lot now. It will come... someday.

Never heard of Gotye...watched and the words were familiar. Gah.

White? Feathers? Have you been eating your pillow?

My 2 meds have X as well :)wonder if that is factor or marking the spot.

I just mowed the entire yard. Hot.

I'm excited about your future too!!

We were in CT last weekend and wondered what those white things were too. It almost looked like it was snowing.

Had never heard of Gotye before - thanks for expanding my world! Cute eyes...!

Enjoy those fluffy white things...they can be rare sometimes...

...and I took a cat to the vet yesterday, which cost a small fortune...all to check some mysterious spots on her fur. Fur babies can be expensive.

Yes, it's a great song. I think the cover by Walk Off The Earth http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9NF2edxy-M got more recognition than the original by Goyte (pronounced Go Tea Yay.. or the French.. Gauthier).
