Mama's Grocery Store Adventure

It is a sad day when you come home from the grocery store and photograph your favorite purchases.  But I can't help myself.
Whole wheat!
Fiber!
Chewable!

I'll spare you the shot of the Lemon Flavored Cod Liver Oil.
But trust me, I have it.
Grocery confessions anyone?

Wow - what a shopping trip you had! I haven't thought any of my grocery store conquests were blog worthy lately. Maybe I will have to work on that!

I LOVE your sense of humor and I am in LOVE with that beautifully tiled back splash.

Can I have a bigger photo of that please?

The pop tarts remind me of eating a Whooper while washing it down with a Diet Coke...that makes it healthier, right?

MPM...you can always make me smile!

These were your favorites? What did you fix for dinner, cardboard?

Maybe I should try to focus on what's good for me?

I'm sure whole wheat Pop-Tarts are against the law. I mean ... by definition they have no redeeming nutritional value. And so they're easy to avoid. But now with 20% of the RDA of Fiber and whole wheat???? WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!

ps: Why can't they do this for Scotch or Wine?

They still make Pop Tarts? Contraband!

I detest shopping for groceries...we eat out a lot. I mean a LOT! What's in my pantry? Centrum Silver...check. Vitamin E...check. 81 mg aspirin...check. Egads -- I'm getting old!

Double-Fiber Wheat Bread here. Oh. And two bottles of wine.

So, if I wash down the fiber pop-tarts with a red wine (high in anti-oxidents), I should be good, right? Makes sense to me.

(I'm with Noe Noe. I hate grocery shopping)

Here's my grocery confession: I haven't been grocery shopping since last week and have nothing to eat and no time to fix anything even if i did have something. I'm living off of boxed red wine and fumes.

Can you send me some of those Centrum? May as well toss in a pop tart too.

Your vacation should most definitely be in Virginia.

Chewable Centrim Seniors? I'm on it, lady!
I, too, went out to shop for groceries, partly for Christmas dinner. No...don't think I have anything wierd. Well, my husband bought herring. Those Dutch guys love their herrings...

I went to the store for 2 solid hours the other day. I bought all the ingredients for Christmas dinner and pumpkin pie & I was thoroughly exhausted. And I hate going to the store, especially when it's crazy!

My guilty pleasure, about once every three to six months, is to purchase a package of sugar wafers - those waffly wafers with the creme stuff in them? I SO squishy heart them! I hide them and take at least a week to eat a package. Mmm.

Fiber-laden Pop Tarts? You are my healthy heroine! I went straight for the Apple Toaster Strudels. What the hell is wrong with me. No wonder I can barely waddle. I heart you; you make me snort-snicker a lot!

No, Wilma is not my sister. She is a woman that I worship because of her killer hair:)

Doesn't she look good on the side bar???

you make me laugh....

I too, love your backsplash..it is beautiful!

Oh, speaking of backsplash..watch out for all that fiber...hahahaha

Must search for the Pop-Tarts. They look yummy and anything with more fiber. At 50, I have to think of those things.

What's the point of Pop-Tarts with fiber and whole grains? Isn't the purpose of Pop-Tarts to eat something extremely sugary with absolutely no nutritional value?

I agree, a vacation should be on your agenda!

Don't even ask...it was all sugar and fat!
