Date Night

Mr. and Mrs Goldfinch have a quiet moment.
Usually, there are hundreds of finches at this feeder.
Did you hear that, Annie?
And, is it me?
Or is the Mister a little bit chunky this Spring?
I feel your pain Mr. Goldfinch.
I feel your pain.

A few too many deep-fried Finch & Chirps meals.

Great shots. :)

I've been meaning to mention this...Why does Annie have YOUR finches?

That looks like an all-you-can-eat buffet; perhaps they need to watch their portion sizes.

They're absolutely beautiful, especially against those blooms.

Hilary always cracks me up with her clever comments. Have a great weekend, Lauren!

Silly girl! They're all over here. We had a big party last night - I think Mr. is bloated from all the ~Finch & Chirps~ he consumed. Wonder if he found the fermented hummingbird nectar...that certainly could explain his bloat.

He sure is pretty!

Maybe you'd better start filling the feeder with NutriSystem meals...

Enjoy your weekend!

Hey - don't blame Mr. Finch for taking advantage of the all-you-can eat buffet!

He looks slimmer in that yellow suit anyway!

Beautiful pictures with the blooms.

I can see it already, the battle of the finches begins. Glad I am out of range!
Happy Spring!

How pretty they are. I now know what happened to all my finch's this year. after barely consuming my diet meals they flew up to your neck of the woods to get fat. I want my birdies back.

Mr. Finch gives me hope that God intended our bodies to look this way...

I feel the pain as well!

Your pic's are so pretty...he is way cute in his bright and cheery yellow...I only wished it made me feel skinnier by thinking how chunky he is...I so feel the pain of looking too chunky like him...but you'd never catch me wearing a full yellow jumpsuit =•/

I think he's bowing his chest out like a proud peacock!

How cute he is! He heard you call him chunky! HA!

Maybe put some tofu in the feeder. That'll slim him right down. It would work for me, except that I'd consume all of the tofu, drenched in something like butter or cake, complaining the whole time and wondering why I didn't lose weight.

Love the birdies.
