Twilight Reminder and a Question

Listen up all you Forks Fanatics...remember that the first Mental P Book Club meetup is here on Monday, December 8.  Get your reviews and opinions ready!  I will have my review and Mr. Linky set up by 9 PM EST on Sunday night.  Post your review at your own site, then come here and sign up on Linky-poo and leave a comment--whatever it may be--and PLEASE suggest a book for our next meeting.  If you don't have a blog,  just leave your review in the comments.  I would like to do this every six weeks or so.  It'll keep me reading.  Thoughts?

Now, for my question to you.  Until today, I didn't want anything for Christmas, but now I think I may want these:
Don't you think they would draw everyone's eyes up?  I mean, who on earth would be interested in my menopot or all my chins if I am trotting around town in these puppies?  Huh?

WOW!!! What some people won't do to be in style....or at least think they are? Seriously...where do you find these??? She saved money buying icicles/tinsel for her Christmas decorating didn't she?

Hmmm... it may draw attention to any silver whiskers. Unless.... HEY are those tweezers dangling from her rims? Sneaky.

You really must get a pair of those.
And after you do, take some pictures---lots of pictures.

Now I know where the tinsel garland I threw away many years ago went - recycling at it's best.

If you had a matching fringe on your menapot...that would be...would be....would be....

They also cleverly conceal bifocals.

Those are so you...

I agree, you must get a pair. Then you can pass them to all your blogger friends and we can take pictures of ourselves for posting. ha

Those would look great hanging from a tree! Very tinsel-y!

I can't wait to hear what you all think about the book. As for the glasses, um...I don't think they are very attractive. They remind me of fringed curtains.

You'd be all kinds of cool in those shades. Everybody'd be buzzing.

I'm looking forward to the book club, although I've sorta already reviewed the book. Have you seen the movie?

Where on earth would you get a pair of those? My daughter would love them!

Can't wait for review day to get here. I don't want to see the movie until I post about the book:)

The glasses? We are SO putting those in the Blogapalooza goodie bags!!! Should we go with silver or gold?

Wow, all those glasses (can they even be called glasses?) would do for me is draw attention to the deep furrows in my brow! *lol*

Having seen Twilight twice now and just re-reading all the books for a 4th time I'm not sure I'm such a fanatic anymore. I don't know what happened.

Okay, first, how long has that header been up there? Duh, on me.

I just finished the book this week and am debating on whether to continue with the next one. Have you?

You definitely need those glasses, but you only have one chin, my dear. I have more than you! LOL

I am thinking they would tickle my nose more than my fancy ... not that I am sure where my fancy is

Where in God's name do you find all this goofy stuff?

Er, I mean, this classy crap.

Can't wait for the 8th! Already finished the 2nd book. I have suggestions but concerns are what does everyone like? Maybe a Dorthea Benton Frank book?

Don't think the glasses ( er em...fringe things...) are for you!

Elton John called, and he wants his glasses back.

I galloped through all four books, and I'm having a little trouble separating them in my mind... Have you seen the movie?
