Sigh

My little cherubs are off on a trip to Philadelphia this morning.  By themselves.  Augie is driving The Bird and a few friends of theirs for a day visit to Villanova.  Sigh.

Between this and the vacating puppies, I don't know how I'm going to survive the day. Seriously.

Poor Mama! Were you just too sick to go?

You are doing well in letting pups and kiddos go. Be brave!

Wine is a known medicinal aide in dealing with separation anxiety.

Rx: Consume one or two bottles on Saturday every time you feel anxious or bereft.

No charge for this BlogDrVisit.

ps: This is not licensed medical advice. I may/may not play a doctor on the internetz.

You know what my solution is, however it may be too early for that (arguably).

So, let's move on to the next source of comfort: food. And since you're so distraught, no sense messing up your kitchen. Go out to lunch. Eat something good for me. I got nothin'.

Sigh.. their independence is a sign that we did/are doing our job well. Still.. sigh!

May I suggest a good book and a hot bath.

Baby steps, my dear. Little Baby Steps. It does get easier as you go along, I promise.

Perhaps a little Vodka Therapy is in order. I'll be right over...

Unfortunately, my usual willingness to share my vast wisdom isn't an option because Abandonment-Issues-R-kim-d. Oh, woe is me. Avoid and deny. The wine and or vodka therapy, while usually at the top of the Rx list, may (not always, but may) take an ugly turn when dealing with separation/abandonment from/by offspring/puppies. Just sayin'...be careful. Don't wanna be known as Tipsy Tears. Just sayin'.

BWAHAHAHA!

And I LOVE your new blog look; very, very nice!

Oh Mama! They will have a great time and will be safe.

We took our last roas trip yesterday up to Geneseo. Got caught in a white out on the way home. It was a good thing that husband went this time. He was chauffering! He actually behaved himself.

I dread the day my kids are at this age. Somedays I long for it, but most days I dread it.

Poor poor mama. I feel your pain. Just get a couple of grand kids. That'll take care of your empty nest feelings. Perhaps a bit too much.
