Words to Live By

When you reach the end of your rope,
tie a knot in it and hang on.

Please be True....

I don't think I've ever wanted anything to be more true than this one....

You See Peace in Your Future

Five years from now, you'll be living a calmer, less hectic life.

You are working hard at managing the chaos in your life right now, and eventually that will pay off for you.

Ten years from now, you will be deeply fulfilled. You will have found a whole new meaning to your life.

By being able to slow down and focus more, you will discover what truly matters to you.

Today's Aquarius Horoscope from Cafe Astrology

The tendency now is to keep others at arm's length, and this is fine just for now if you are not feeling up to par socially. However, it's important to avoid totally alienating others while you do take your time to observe rather than act. Differences in values are highlighted now, and you could be feeling that important people in your life either don't understand what you value or have radically different values than your own. It's not the time to push others away, but rather to pull yourself back a little in order to collect yourself. In fact, you have much to learn from your intuition now.

Creativity: Excellent ~ Love: Fair ~ Business: Fair

Hope yours is better.

Today's Horoscope for Aquarius

There's tension all around you, so you'll be happiest spending as much time by yourself as possible, Aquarius. If you must interact with people, keep your communication clear and concise. There's room for misunderstanding, which could result in a major blowup over a minor event. It simply isn't worth the trouble being with people today. Seclusion is the only place where you'll find peace.
And I'm on my way to a big Expo this morning... Hope everybody likes my concise communication.

What are you supposed to be doing today?

  • Route 29. Hello Virginia!
  • Hello Charlottesville!

One More Sleep...

And I'll be on the road. Unfortunately, it's not a road less traveled. I'll have plenty of company. But at the end of the road is a precious reward!!! What' s your road trip look like?

You Take the Road Less Traveled

You see life as precious and special. Heritage and family are very important to you.

Your life is quite hectic. You try to slow down when you can, but it's not easy!

You're willing to take a few risks in life. You may not take the road no one travels, but you're happy to take the road less traveled.

You are able to find a fairly healthy balance between work and play. You work when you need to, but you never let yourself burn out.

In another life, you could have been a great artist. You trust your creative instincts enough to let them lead you.

When the mom and the daughter shop via email and text:
Shoes are critical, too...
And she's right, those patent ones are painful.
But they are so cute...
And in two sleeps?
We can put our outfits together in person!

Well Alrighty Then...

Aquarius Horoscope
For The Week Starting September 12, 2011

- Even though you may have just changed your residence, you will be making a more permanent move next year in June. Plans that you may make now should be of a tentative nature because people change their minds in two weeks. When all is said and done it will find that the change is in your favor. The third week of October should be important to you. A profitable proposition comes to you at that time.

Is yours this good?

Hump Day Quiz

I think a lot of this is water under the bridge. But I must take a moment on my soapbox to say that no child needs his or her parent to be their "buddy." Those kids are invariably the ones who end up in some sort of a pickle. Sooner rather than later. I am a human, and I am as flawed as the next guy. But my kids are awesome. Other parents even tell me so. They are awesome, and I like to think that their father and I may have had something to do with it. Just a little bit. you were.

You Will Be a Cool Parent

You seem to naturally know a lot about parenting, and you know what kids need.

You can tell when it's time to let kids off the hook, and when it's time to lay down the law.

While your parenting is modern and hip, it's not over the top.

You know that there's nothing cool about a parent who acts like a teenager... or a drill sergeant!

And, yes, Baby Bird, I know my sentence structure is no good. Anybody want to weigh in here?
